Bleeding is normal and dealing with it is one of the most pervasive ways women are complicit in their silence.Some men bleed too. How would you react to that? For many men who are Trans the act of bleeding is a security threat.

but can we talk about how unsanitary this is? to literally let blood drip from your body onto places where other people will sit and walk by? people carry bloodborne diseases and regardless of where the blood is originating from, i think it’s just damn rude to let it just flow and fall where it may
its not even an issue of feminism i think someone’s discomfort with *some* of these images can go back to a simple public health concern
i know people that get chronic nosebleeds [and i understand that isn’t a necessarily valid comparison here] and them excusing themselves when they start to bleed isn’t really about shame or anything it’s just about cleanliness
